Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name on television. De La Garza's parents were both Irish and Mexican American. She was born in Ohio's Columbus on December 26, 1976. De La Garza moved to Texas in order to pursue an occupation as a physical therapist in the University of Texas. De La Garza did not remain in Texas for long and soon transferred towards Orlando Florida, where she played a variety of roles as an actor including commercials and local film productions. Despite her small roles, she discovered her passion for acting. Her move to New York and in 2001 she scored her first part on the soap opera for daytime viewers All My Children as Rosa Santos. Her roles were sporadic on JAG the Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men at the beginning of 2000. In 2004 she was cast in her debut series role on The Mountain The Mountain, which is a short-lived television drama. De La Garza played Maria Serrano, alongside some of the greatest TV actors, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi as well as Mitch Pilegge. In 2006, she played A.D.A. on Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. She was a part of 85 episodes. She then migrated to the short-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. De La Garza received nominations for a variety of awards, including the award for Best Supporting Actress - TV from the Imagen Foundation Awards as well as several ALMA Award nominations. In 2008, she won one of the Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza was then selected as a role in CSI Miami. She starred as Marisol Delko as the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. She played the character Dr. Lena Solis, she has been seen most recently in the NBC drama Do No Harm. Alyssa Milano's show was pulled by NBC after only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She is Italian and is the youngest of two sisters Cory. She was brought up in a conservative, religious family. Milano was first introduced to acting at the age of seven old. She was accompanied by her babysitter along to an audition. Milano was among four girls chosen out of hundreds of applicants. Milano appeared in advertisements in both Broadway and on TV and in the American musical version from Jane Eyre.
