Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name on television. De La Garza's parents were both Irish and Mexican American. She was born in Ohio's Columbus on December 26, 1976. De La Garza moved to Texas in order to pursue an occupation as a physical therapist in the University of Texas. De La Garza did not remain in Texas for long and soon transferred towards Orlando Florida, where she played a variety of roles as an actor including commercials and local film productions. Despite her small roles, she discovered her passion for acting. Her move to New York and in 2001 she scored her first part on the soap opera for daytime viewers All My Children as Rosa Santos. Her roles were sporadic on JAG the Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men at the beginning of 2000. In 2004 she was cast in her debut series role on The Mountain The Mountain, which is a short-lived television drama.
